Local Trails

ColoradoTrail.org: A portion of the Colorado Trail goes through the Collegiate Peaks. A day or two at Las Manos will refresh even the most exhausted hiker.

Discovery Trail: The American Discovery Trail is the main east-west hiking trail in the US, and it also passes near Las Manos.

Continental Divide Trail: The CDT is the third major American north-south trail, along with the Appalachian and Pacific Crest Trails It is the longest and most wild of the three. Work is currently being done near Buena Vista to re-route some of the original portions of the trail to move it closer to the Divide and make it more remote.

Monarch Crest Trail: One of the nation’s best mountain bike experiences.
