Las Manos Bed and Breakfast is a unique Colorado vacation spot. Our property is certified by The National Wildlife Federation as a "Certified Wildlife Habitat," and we were recently named one of “ America’s 10 Greenest Hotels” by ForbesTraveler.com. We are committed to running an environmentally friendly bed and breakfast that operates in harmony with our beautiful surroundings. We want to provide guests the opportunity to share in an experience that we are fortunate to live every day. Below are some of the things that make our Colorado accommodations outstanding.

• Solar and wind generated electricity…we’re completely off-grid
• Locally hand-made all-natural soaps

• French press brewed coffee from Bongo Billy's our local high altitude roastery. All of Bongos coffees are sustainable. They are organic, shade grown or socially responsible and/or Fair Trade certified.
• No preset breakfast times...we ask you every night...it's your choice
• Xeriscape landscaping with local and high-altitude plants and grasses
• Hummingbirds from April through September
• Locally hand-made all-natural birdfeeders/watering stations
  
• Deer, coyotes, bobcats and rabbits
• The Milky Way, planets and a sky full of stars…no city lights
• extra sleeping bags in each suite for stargazing on your own private deck
  
• Adobe floors…please bring your slippers
• Wind-dried sheets and towels...no harsh laundry or dryer additives

• No traffic noise…we’re a mile from the nearest road
