If you're in the mood for high-quality Thai and Sushi...(yes...the seafood is flown in daily from Hawaii) we suggest The Asian Palate .  For deluxe wood fired Pizza, steaks, burgers and salads, with an excellent on-site brewery, we also highly recommend The Eddyline Restaurant and Brewpub. 

 For world-wide dining, try The Global Cafe , and for "comfort food" we recommend Mothers Bistro and for after hours, their " Daughters Martini infusion Bar" which is actually run by their son....  hey...things change...

The Collegiate Peaks Scenic Byway is a marvelous 57 mile self guided driving Tour highlighting scenic, historical and natural spots in our Chaffee County.... there is a wonderful website  and even a downloadable Tour Guide and Map.... we highly recommend that you spend some time on our Byway....

White Water Rafting -- The Arkansas is an outstanding rafting river, with a full range of whitewater experiences, from Class 3 right up to Class 5 action in The Numbers. And the scenery is exceptional as well. We recommend the following professional companies.

Fly Fishing – The Upper Arkansas River is the best spot for your fly fishing trip. The famous Caddis Hatch, the quiet pools and the 2-mile stretch of virtually private river adjacent to our home make Las Manos the perfect fly fishing home base. And of course our area has dozens of high mountain lakes and streams too.

Rock Climbing

Las Manos is within walking distance of Turtle (Bob's) Rock and Elephant Rock, which are regularly climbed by locals and out-of-towners alike. Turtle Rock is a favorite of many of the Rafting companies that operate rafting and climbing trips.
